Utah Registration Levels and Requirements

Utah does not publish a generic low, medium, and high risk tier scheme that can be swapped with federal SORNA labels. Utah Code §53-29-203 uses offense-based ten-year and lifetime requirements. The ten-year period generally runs for ten years after sentence termination for an offense on that statutory list. Other listed offenses and circumstances require lifetime registration.
