Juab County Arrest History
Juab County Sheriff's Office makes arrests in unincorporated areas and provides law-enforcement coverage associated with Mona and Levan. It also operates the county jail. Nephi Police creates its own reports for Nephi incidents and arrests. Utah Highway Patrol holds records from its troopers on I-15 and other state routes. The record request must go to the agency that created the report. Sending one request to the sheriff does not require Nephi or the Utah Department of Public Safety to produce their separate records.

If a BCI self-record lacks an event seen in court, the arrest may not have been fingerprinted or the disposition may not have been reported or matched.
Looking Up Juab County Arrests

Juab County Arrest GRAMA Requests
The Juab County Sheriff Records Division lists sheriff reports, accident reports, photographs, recordings, and other office records. The unit works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. It has no online submission portal. Call 435-623-1344, option 3, or use the downloadable GRAMA form. The form asks for the requester's name, date of birth, address, phone, a clear description, the event address, involved names, and a case number when available.
The sheriff form states a $15 fee for up to ten pages, with added cost above ten pages. It gives the office up to ten business days to provide the record, deny the request, or state that more time is needed. Utah GRAMA permits redaction or withholding for active investigations, juveniles, victims, security information, and private identifiers. A requester can ask for the segregable public portions when a full report cannot be released.

A name match alone is weak proof of identity. Use the event date, agency, location, case number, and later court facts to guard against mixing two people.

The correct custodian follows the officer or facility that created the record. Juab Sheriff holds county reports and local jail booking material. Nephi Police holds Nephi incident and arrest reports. Utah DPS holds Highway Patrol records. Court clerks hold judicial filings after an arrest or citation reaches court. Nephi Police records hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to noon. After-hours dispatch is 801-798-5600.
Booking Logs and Recent Arrests
Juab County does not publish a verified stable booking log or inmate roster on the sheriff's official site. For a recent arrest, call the jail at 435-623-1344, option 2. Ask whether the person is currently held and which agency booked the person. Then request releasable booking portions from sheriff records if needed. A court check may take time because prosecutor screening and filing follow the arrest.
The absence of an online entry says little about prior Juab County arrest history. A current roster, if one is later launched, would mainly answer present custody and would not replace agency reports or the court result. A person can be released, transferred, or never booked at Juab Jail. Court records can persist after the jail event ends, while expungement can later restrict qualifying records through a legal order.

Missing Juab County Arrest Events
BCI warns that an event without fingerprints may not appear on a Utah criminal history even when a court or corrections source shows it. Fingerprints are the strongest link between an arrest cycle and the state repository. A name, citation, or locally kept report may not create the same match. Reporting delays and an unreported or unmatched disposition can also leave a state record out of step with the court.
For your own record, obtain the BCI report first. Compare the event and disposition with the originating agency and court. If the final result is wrong or absent, ask the court or agency what proof BCI needs to correct the segment. Arrests Are Not Convictions
An arrest records legal restraint and the suspected basis at that time. A conviction is a court judgment of guilt after a plea or verdict. They come from different custodians. Juab Sheriff or another arresting agency can retain an arrest report even if a prosecutor declines the matter. A filed case can be dismissed or end in acquittal. Conversely, an intake charge can be amended before a conviction is entered under a different count.
